Do you hear that deafening silence?
The kind that sticks in the back of your throat?
It is a part of you.
You are the treasure; it is the hunt.
For a second you think it's gone.
Why can't I feel anything?
Why do I feel so much?
I want it all.
I want nothing but that deafening silence.
Am I slipping away?
Or am I finding out truth?
How do I find something I love?
Gazing at a crystal night sky;
The aftermath of laughter exploding from your belly.
When a child finds comfort in your arms.
-It's there.
For a brief moment, you've escaped.
Until you haven't.
Because I still hear it.
That deafening silence.

a very lovely poem - and yes, we all of us experience the silence of our Lamb,
at His discretion, and must learn how He expects us to deal with it...

Ohh, but does this not touch on the outcome of those engaged from the heart?

There truly is no infatuation at all when the Master's care is seen gathering! Bravo!
