About all the times that I
Imagined this: Seeing this
Land flowing with hon-eye and
Milk, Lord.. yet those dreams do miss
The real, true bounty mine eyes
Behold now. ‘Couldn’t ‘a seen.”

“I know, Mo.” - I AM. “Tell Me
What you do see,” Excited,
Eyes lift, heart beats, “God I see
Grand children and great children-
Grand playing on soil, picking
Fruits I’ve never heard of – then
The delicious beast she cooks

With herbs I never smelled, meat
I will never taste..” “What else
My friend?” - On High – “Then they greet
Relatives ‘back from far east-
‘Pilgriming- and they all tell
Stories eating some strange meat
Marinated in some fell,

Sweet fruits I ‘never seen! Man,
Lord, I done told you I was
Sorry I did ‘sa wrong when
I lost my temper ‘n batted
That stone… But over it ‘as
I now, know you ‘is. Blessed
Would be to walk there with them..

But I ain’t gonna complain
Or regret.. You let me live,
See your glory like’s many
People’s lifetimes combined twill
Never see.. My kinsman ‘they
‘Free not slaves, miracles, still
And again, things You taught me

I will never forget.. Not
Bad at all just sittin’ here
Hundred plus years old and sought
Promised land only with these
Eyes behold. I can wait not
To see the grandkids walk ‘cross
From desert to paradise.
What adventures they will have!
What new things to see, places,
Mountains, wonders – what new plans
You will unfold! Traces of
‘Ternity woven by Hand
Into their souls, great cities,
Beautiful lakes ;.. no not bad

To be here with You and see,
Even just see.” God smiling,
“So what is that one last thing?”

Desire you have of me?” Mo
Thinks.. “I always wanted ‘see
Your Ultimate salvation

With my own eyes.” “you will soon
Enough my friend.” “You ‘done give
Me such a blessed life I croon
To be able to find words..”
“Just praise me simple, Mo, this
God understands -” Tears balloon
Into Moses Eyes: “Thank You.

Thank you Lord for all that Ye
Be, all you ‘given ‘ta me.”
“My joy my friend. Now you sleep,
I will see you very soon.”

Nice... looks like a mixed work of poetry and prose..... moses died at the end and woke up with God right?

Imagining it in God time: Moses going to paradise; actually talking with Jesus and.. whomever it was during his ministry, accepting Christ when he came to set those people free in the place of the dead, then seeing Jesus and God up in heaven --- Many years, but "very soon". in God time yo yo
