Hey, I'm new on here. I would like to meet some new friends because I am so bored and craving social interactions. All of the kids my age at my church have really strict parents - their not allowed to play video games or watch R rated films, and their curfew is 8pm even on weekends! Their parents don't really like me that much because my parents don't really care about what I do as long as its not against the law so they think I'm going to 'corrupt' their children. So, I don't get to hang out with them that much. And my other friends aren't Christian so they don't understand God so I can't talk to them about that. It kinda sucks. Which is why I'm here.

Children shouldn't be watching R-rated videos anyway.. I never did, I had a 9 p.m. curfew growing up..

And no offense, but your parents don't sound like very.. responsible parents. :/ If your friends aren't Christian, then maybe it's time you got new friends who are..

Well that's why I am on here for XD
And I don't want y'all to get a bad image of my parents - their not as strict as other parents are but they don't exactly let me run wild. Like I don't get any pocketmoney, I get paid $2-$10 for doing different chores. So if I want to be able to go out and do things or buy something then I need to work for it. And I get a 9pm curfew if my grades are bad but I study hard so there hasn't been much need for them to implement it.
I get that some kids would need more boundaries but I'm not doing anything bad and my parents do check on me a lot to make sure of that so I don't think them not being the strictest is too bad. But I'm not a parent so I can't really say.

Well, good.. :) Do you have any money saved up for stuff that you'd like to do? Maybe your parents could open a savings account for you.. Mine did when I was a teenager, and was working at a nursing home.

I never got an allowance as a kid. I got bribed with chocolate bars, to get good grades.. lol.. but the grades never went above a C.. oh well.. LOL

At the moment I have about $50 because we're going on holiday to DisneyLand in a few weeks and I want to be able to buy some cool stuff while I'm there.
My parents do have some money saved for me for college (or a house if I don't go to college) and they add in an extra $100 if I get all 5s on my report card and $50 if it is all 4s and 5s. I think I've only got all 5s once XD it's a difficult goal to reach lol

What do you mean by 4's and 5's? When I was in school, we had A, B, C, D, and F... lol

I'm on a report card for my ADD so at the end of every week I get a report card that scores me between 1 and 5 for every subject based on how well I did that week at paying attention, doing my work, and just generally behaving well.

I'm also a dude person I'm pretty lame tho so idk if you wanna be frands lol but if you do I'm down fam anime and games are cool dpending on what it is so ye.

Have you considered changing churches? If all the parents are against you, there is something wrong with that picture?

Well that isnt really my choice and I dont know if my parents would want to drive even further for a different church. But when I start driving I plan on finding one that suits me better.

Heeey raph, It would be a pleasure to be your friend, like you actually I'm trying to find friends cause most of my friends are... Not really much Christian, like they don't worship or serve God regularly, like i hear or see a lot of bad influence in them, so I went here. Once again, I hope to be your friend 😁
