Scriptures Tell Us That,

It is written both in the New Testament and the
Old testament. Well I believe most of us would
ask the question "How can I be always joyful".
If we think about it though, I don't believe God is
saying walk around with a smile all day. Although
that would be ideal it is very impractical. There
are things beyond our control that happen within
us that make the human condition imperfect. So,
what we can do though when things like sadness,
despair or many other undesirable issues come
up is turn to Him. If we have a solid prayer routine,
we can easily turn to Him when situations such as
these turn up. In my earlier days, I would allow
that type of thing eat me up. As I've matured, I am
able to redirect those negatives and turn them to
positives in God. While the issue may not clear up
immediately, our trust in Him tells that help is on
the way, and it always is. We trust all evil will soon
depart when we allow God to be our guide. Alone
we can do nothing.

I think many know this old, very short Rejoice hymn.
