To Show Who God Is.
Until that time, no one could imagine the face of
God. In other words, until then God was a Spirit
in the sky. This is not to say the God that
Jesus showed was the only face of God. He had
made Himself human in all respects while still
maintaining Godliness. He showed us how to live,
how to pray, and mostly the ultimate sacrifice as
to die for one another. So God is whoever Jesus
showed us that He was. While God is perfect, He
had to show us in humbleness, the struggles and
road blocks of life. But He also taught us how to
overcome all of those things. We needed to be
able to witness how life should be lived. While we
are not perfect, that should never deter us from
striving for perfection. Even though that will not
happen on this earth, we need to work towards it.
