He never say in OT poligamy is adultery. But He say adultery is sin.

When David commit adultery and murder, God sent Nathan to warn David. To tell David that he commit sin.

So when David commit sin, God warn him.

Before he murder uriah and adultery to bethzebs, he already have more than one wife. Why Nathan not warn him of his poligamy?

After Nathan warn him, he still poligamy. Why Nathan not say divorce your extra wife or God Will punish you

If sin is ok, why God punish David for his murder and adultery?
Davids sin with batsheba was prety serious, Then he killed her husband.

Adultry is sin, The penalty of sin is death

David had more than one wife. That means he commited adultry many times

Again, the penalty of sin is death.

Commit adultery with betseba and murder her husband is sin, and Nathan warn him and God punish him.

2 Samuel 12:10 New International Version (NIV)
10 Now, therefore, the sword will never depart from your house, because you despised me and took the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your own.’

This is punishment from the Lord when David commit adultery and murder.

Adultery = punishment.

If in OT poligamy = adultery, Why God not punish David when he did poligamy?

He was poligamy before he adultery with betsheba.

Really?

Does God punish you every time you sin and post his punishment to you all over the world?

David commited many sins that God did not tell us about.. Those two happen to be very severe.

To say having multiple wives is ok, when God said one man and one woman is to excuse sin

So one last time, What other sins are you trying to excuse?

But David murder and adultery after save
murder????? if you are talking about Goliath ???? Saul ARMED David he became a soldier of a battle, ...so are you saying in an army when someone is killed its murder???? they are not premeditated killing. if that be the case, all men that went to battle would be murders and they are not....
and if you are talking about sin.... everyone on the face of the earth has sinned, no big or little, but there are consequences to sinning. It doesn't make you lost if you sin or we would be lost daily, since mankind sins daily.

So you believe it’s impossible for one of Christ’s sheep to become lost?

“What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance. Luke 15:4-7

Scripture Key:

  • I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.

JPT
before I get into the sheep story...... let me ask you a question " How many sins would it take to be lost?" in your view, it would be one...ok if it only takes one, then wouldn't that person be repenting and getting baptized every day we ARE born into a sinful nature right from the beginning and the nature loves to sin, it is its nature, even when we as Christians will absolutely sin when we get weak, doesn't make it ok...we pay the consequences just like a parent will correct the child when they do wrong and the child pays the consequences. doesn't mean the child is no longer the child of that parent tho. so when a born again Christian sins, ( backslides from not letting God guide them when they made the choice to let him be Lord of himself/herself. ( not renewing our minds we will get weak....renew with many things.....reading and studying his word.....singing his praises songs....assembling with other Christians, ] its like a high school gang each pumping each other up, and keeps them focuses...etc.....
...........
ok back to the sheep.....when a sheep gets lost, its feel out of that flock and wandered off....getting lost from the group doesn't make the sheep lost in their soul, its lost from the flock... if it was lost in soul why would the shepherd attempt to go get something that doesn't belong to him any longer? just because we humans, wander off from the track doesn' t mean we are lost in our soul. we get brought back to the fold, in chastising ( thank God)... when we agree to let God be Lord over us, we become his child......a parent might have a child and that child rebells......doesn't mean they are not that parents child anymore.......look at the kid in the news that divorced his parents....he only by law became divorced from his parents,...but he still had the blood of the parents in him. Once we CHOICE to accept Christ to come in...we are sealed unto the day of redemption(Eph.4:30...) no man(mankind) can be pluck out of his hands..(John 10:28) if we are sealed unto the day of redemption our soul is sealed with Christ blood and his blood has salvation in it....if say...satan tries to reach in and take that soul, he would be saved, cause the blood is salvation. once its sealed no man(mankind) can pluck it, john 10:28 say they shall NEVER perish. and he gives them eternal life v. 28..... so is he going to unseal and take back eternal life? and take back his promise...of that person never perish???????? ( and God cant lie...Titus 1:2 says God cannot lie.)
.....God knows when the heart is ready to accept him as Lord and MASTER, there are tons of people thinking they are saved because they ask for their sins to be forgiven and it feels supernatural ( cleansed of the sins is unreal.) satan whispers to that person they are saved...fooling them..but Christ stands at the door and knocks, waiting to be ask in. I was fooled once by satan, is why I can speak out, and I really thought I was saved cause I went through the motions....the heart was not ready, he comes to that heart that is fully ,I knew a man once that said he got saved at every service..... Christ died for ALL sins....if we got lost at every sin it would be daily. straying away is not lost in the soul.

wouldn't that person be repenting and getting baptized every day

Repenting and confessing our sin to God, to be forgiven and cleansed of all unrighteousness is the to continue with the Lord; to abide in Him.

Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.
1 John 3:24

If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.
John 15:6

This is the principle, Jesus was teaching in the parable of the lost sheep.

Being forgiven.

Matthew shows us how to regain someone who sins against us.

“What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying? And if he should find it, assuredly, I say to you, he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray. Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.
“Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’ And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector. Matthew 18:12-17

Here are the steps -

  1. Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother.

2. But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’

3. And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.

From here Jesus deals with the unforgivness of sin.

Then his master, after he had called him, said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me. Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?’ And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him.
So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses. Matthew 18:32-35

David commited adultry his whole life. He had many wives..

David was called a man after Gods own heart when he was a kid shepperding his fathers flock. Did God make a mistake? Or was david already saved?
The wives were not out of Gods will.
He was the forerunner of Jesus. The many wives were a picture of the church.

5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.

Jesus use the word remain here.

Matt 24

42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

I can no longer believe in OSAS because:
Gal 5:4 "Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace."
(Imagine answering to Jesus, at the Judgment seat of Christ; how that Calvin was more accurate than scripture)

1 Tim 4:1 "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and the doctrine of devils." (If one departs from the faith, how is that one saved by grace through faith?)

2 Pet 2: 20, 21 "For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them."

Mk 10: 4 "And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away." (Old Covenant)
1 Cor 7: 9 "But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn." (New Covenant)

Heb 6: 4-6 "For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, if they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame."
(The above verse tells me that its better to believe OSAS, than it is to believe that we're saved today; and then, lost tomorrow; and then saved once again on the day after that.)

Mt 10: 33 "But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven."
2 Tim 2: 12 "if we suffer, we shall reign with him: If we deny him, he also will deny us."

Mt 12: 32 "And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him; but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come."

Rev 22: 19 "And if any man shall take away the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."

Rom 11: 20-22 "Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not high minded, but fear: For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off."

Heb 3: 12 "Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God."

1 Jn 5: 16, 17 "If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. All unrighteousness is sin, and there is a sin not unto death."

1 cor 8: 9-12 "But take heed, lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak. For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols; and through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for who Christ died? But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ."

(The difference between stumbling and falling away is that when one stumbles, they get back up; but when one falls away, they are again entangled and are overcome by being brought into bondage to sin. Teaching OSAS lets some who are weak to slowly allow their faith to fad away and die out; without ever even realizing that it is happening, sadly. This makes teaching OSAS to the weak, a sin against their brethren and thereby a sin against Christ)

Maranatha!

Lets see

God gave the death penalty for some sin

He gave Lesser penalties for other sin

I am talking about reaction to sin here on earth to society

Every king had multiple wives. So david living wiht many wives did not harm society

Him taking a mans wife while he is at home when he shoudl have been leadin ghis troups. Then getting her pregant. Then having her husband killed to try to hide his sin.

Well look at how it affected david in society. He suffered greatly. He was apposed by his own people. And things were never the same

As for spiritual life or death

The penalty of sin is death Period

Are you mormon or Islam? I ask because they are the only two religions i know that say poligamy is ok.

that chapter he is speaking to his disciples at the last supper.....he knew they would be tempted to leave him, ..Jesus is the tree ( root) he will nourish us, prune us, cut off dead limbs (....persay) the ones that do not bear fruit( go through the actions of a Christians, yet not even saved) do NOT bear fruit, if they do not bear fruit they are not of the tree..dead if they were really by faith accepted Christ they would produce fruit. , they outwardly look like they are Christians, but they never had him come into their life. ....there are church member...I mean MEMBERS....that have dry bones inside, have no fruits and do not have Christ. just outward appearance . the outward person that SAYS they are Christians, yet are not his, are like a branch that withers.....no fruits, they die out and SUCH branches are thrown into the fire...of course they are they are not his.
You say If one realy save must bear the fruit and we know the fruit of Holy Spirit is love.

What about If murderer repent for 10 years than back to murder,

Is he consider bear the fruit?

You ask how many sin till one lost his salvation, now I ask you If murderer repent for 10 year then back to murder for the rest of his life is he lost his salvation or not
