I think... I hate poetry. I only learned how to do it because of you.

Our Last Goodbye
By me

All i have ever wanted was to say goodbye
To our haunting dream and to the lie.
We were never meant to be,
This was merely all a test to
see if I could set you free.

As I look past the shade,
so close to the sun so unafraid.
I see a happy future for you glimmering,
with a girl with whom you are settling.

For years I prayed for this day for you,
so that you would end up with something true,
and I would finally close the door,
and God would set me free to something more.

I want to be happy too...
Is that okay with you?

I think I have found
Something meant for me,
for I have never felt more happy.
So hopefully this is the last goodbye,
with which I will no longer forever cry.
