You tell me. Better yet, instead of posting such a question as you did in the OP, why NOT include in the OP YOUR THOUGHTS?

Before asking others to jump in. Let us see what you think, and we will know better what you are asking/looking for.

That is HOW you are pfishing, by posting such a question without providing any thoughts of your own.

PFISHING..........it's a common thing here

Well, it seems that the only proof of the Ressurection of Christ are the bravery of early christian martyrs and the conversion of Saul. These are valid points, but I was wondering if there was any more evidence.

I apologize for phishing.

That's exactly what you are doing -- trolling.

The Gospel record should be enough if your are a Christian. However if you are not, *they will not believe though one rose from the dead*.

Thank you for that response. In Scripture it tells us that hundreds of people were witness to His resurrection. As well, they witnessed the resurrection of many who they knew were dead. The Apostles SAW the resurrected Christ, and others did as well. The women.

Remember the two men on the road who He walked and talked with, and finally, they realized who He was?

If one takes the totality of the witnesses who saw the resurrected Christ, and presented their testimony in a Court of Law, it would be impossible for anyone to deny their accounts. As well, there has NEVER been a body found, and that WOULD BE required by the Court of Law in order to deny His resurrection The Legal Body of Proof alone is beyond compare.

Folks get around this by not believing in God/Christ. There are accounts in Jewish and Roman History of the existence of Christ, but folks dismiss that by saying "He was just a man."

All this would stand on its own, but we, the Church, are of the Christian Faith, and we take the Word of God as Truth ON FAITH. And, not one account of Christ HAS EVER been proven to be a lie.

Excerpt from Article:

Eyewitness testimony of the resurrection, as recorded in the New Testament, is the basis of faith in Jesus as Christ. In John 15:27 and Acts 1:8, Jesus tells His apostles that they were to be witnesses. Peter speaks to the others in Acts 1 of David's prophecy that God swore He would bring forth Christ and raise Him up. Peter said (Acts 2:31-32) he saw Jesus before the resurrection and "God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of the fact." (Also read Acts 3:15; 4:33; 10:39-41.)

However, the apostles were not the only ones who saw the risen Jesus. Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James were the first (Mark 16). Paul lists several witnesses in 1 Corinthians 15:3-8. Among Jesus' disciples, there were 500 other witnesses. And the Jewish Law of Moses required at least two or three witnesses (Deuteronomy 17:6).

"This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms." Jesus spoke these words in Luke 24:44.

So how credible were all the "witnesses" claiming to have actually seen the resurrected Son of God? Their accounts have withstood the test of time (over 2000 years). Many of them were put to death since they could not renounce their testimonies of His resurrection. But are these recorded testimonies enough? Yes, but in addition, Jesus promised after His ascension this: "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses. . ." (Acts 1:8). The Holy Spirit came in His place to bear witness to all flesh.

A living breathing Church worldwide since 30 AD.
That would mean that Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism, and Islam are all true because people believed in them for hundreds of years.

According to the post I responded too, all that is required for these religions to be true is to stay active for many years. I do not personally beleive they are true, but you need more of an argument than "no".

Ok, so you were not responding to my comment............ok.........and, I gave you ample evidence of the truth of the Resurrection........as for my NO about those religions you mentioned...........I need no more than that for Scripture itself is the Witness that these are false religions............So, if you NEED evidence other than NO, READ Scripture.........

That can be hard for some people to accept that Jesus resurrected from the grave, because the Bible said certain people said it was true, for they say how do we know it is true.

Which the Bible says we should believe the account of God that He gave us His Son.

So it matters if a person believes in the Holy Bible, and the account of God concerning His Son in that Bible, for if they accept the Holy Bible, and the God of the Bible, as true, then they should accept the account God gave of His Son, and if they believe the God of the Bible then it is child's play for Him to resurrect the dead, which Jesus said nothing is impossible with God, who understands the working of physical matter.

God said that He identifies Himself as the one true God by showing us the end from the beginning, prophesy, which He said no other religion, or person, will be able to do that, which He told us the whole history of mankind, and all the kingdoms that would come up one after the other.

Which God told us what is going on today with the world, and what will come to pass shortly, which the next kingdom to come is the ten horn kingdom, the world split in to ten section with a leader in each section, as the nations come together and say Peace and safety as they try to establish peace on earth.

Daniel did not understand what was told him in the book of Daniel, which he was told not to worry about it, for he could not understand it, but to go his way for the book is sealed unto the time of the end, many shall run to and fro, advanced travel, and knowledge shall be increased, advanced technology, which then the saints would be able to see, hear, and know, what is going on in the world where the nations will come together and rebel against God.

Which the Bible warns the saints about the new age movement that shall happen at the latter times, the last days of the last days, and close to Jesus getting His people off this earth, and then putting the wicked down, and the new age movement's false interpretation of the Bible based on the occult, and evolution, and people can still evolve, and will lead the world that does not love God to follow the New Age Christ in Revelation 13, and when they do God will get His people off the earth, and then fight the world that rebelled against Him.

Which the saints can know about what the world is doing, so it is the time of the end, and the new age movement is here, which is the beginning of the end for those who do not love God.

God told us prophesy to identify Himself as the one true God, and His word true, and told us everything that would occur at this time, and of automobiles, and jets, like birds flying, when Israel took control of Jerusalem in the 6 day war, 1967, and the bringing of the Jews back to their land, and making them a nation again, among other things.

So the thing that has to be done with some people is to cause them to understand that the Bible is true, and the God of the Bible is true, for then they should believe the account that God gave of His Son, which if He created everything it is a simple thing to raise a person from the dead.

But do you mean from a source outside the Bible proving the resurrection is true, but I still wanted to point that out above for those that do not believe the account of the Son resurrecting from the dead.

John 20:18-29
King James Version(KJV)

18.)Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.

19.)Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

20.)And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.

21.)Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

22.)And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

23.)Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

24.)But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.

25.)The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.

26.)And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.

27.)Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

28.)And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

29.)Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

Absolutely, take a look at the book of Luke, some 30 yrs later he goes and investigates. Now at first you might say well it's the same as the other gospels somewhat but think of it 30 yrs later the same zeal and zest these people had telling the story. Luke never meant Christ but yet came to believe. Then begins to hang with Paul and help with the ministry. Something happened something out of the ordinary. Can't keep a lie straight for that long.

He's been given so much Scripture.......doesn't seem inclined to accept it though.........
