I Have Carved You In The Palm Of My Hand.
He has loved us unconditionally, absolutely and forever.
Even when we falter He gently brings us back on to the
road of redemption. So rather than diminishing grace,
He pours out even more love. As mortals, this is hard
for us to comprehend, our nature is to think that if we do
good, He will love us more. Yet in so many places in
scripture that is not the case. One example off the top
of my head is the parable of the lost sheep. He leaves
all the sheep to go and recapture the stray. We always
need to know that His ways are not our ways. Often what
we think is the right way turns out to be the wrong way.
That is why we need to continue to read and absorb the
message in scripture. Let His words flow deep into us
and never become superficial but always see them as
action.
