Who is God?

Obviously this topic doesn’t deserve my tarnished interpretation of my understanding of God.

Whether I use scriptures, creation or my own perspective nothing I say is worthy for me to even begin explaining who I think God is.
In light of so many people's understandings, beliefs and perspectives I’m not going to go down the usual track of using scripture to summarise God.

The reason is I’ve done this so many times before and there will always be people who want to argue and disagree regardless of what facts I display or proof I bring.

It actually makes me feel better that the Apostles and Jesus had this same problem.

Unless they did sign and wonders and spoke powerful inspired by the Holy Spirit who would have believed them?
Because I’m on social media i'll make this quick and to the point.

Jesus Christ is God. The God and only God. There, I’ve said it. There is only one God and he Jesus is him fully.
As I say this my eyes start to water because I am so rotten in my sinful nature. I don’t deserve to know that or even have Jesus reveal himself to me.

God himself manifested in the flesh and showed me and all who believe this through Jesus Christ.
I’m not saying God changes himself into the Father and then into Jesus and then into the Holy Spirit.

They are all distinct in nature but are from the same source, character and glory.

For example when the Father sent Jesus into the world he gave his heart. His heart for us was so big he gave his very essence of love. Jesus is God’s love for us, not just in action but himself.

When God gives us his Spirit that lives in us it is also his Love which is Jesus Christ living in us to.

When The Holy Spirit in all power and holiness and wisdom and so much more comes and lives in us the Father is also in us.
God himself, the only God expressed through these 3 persons as one lives in me and you if you believe. They all have their distinct characteristics but are the same.

One day we will get to meet God. I don’t know if he will be the way he manifested himself through Jesus Christ but we will see him as he really is.

If we trust in Jesus and allow the Holy Spirit to guide us and lead us then we can trust that the Father also loves us and we are in God and him in us.

Many people have walked away from the foundations of our understanding of God.

This understanding is the Trinity understanding. I am not ashamed to believe this and hold fast to the teachings of old.

For the FB group I run which can be found on my home page profile I will boldly proclaim this belief.

As I run the group I must protect it from twisted and new revelations that throw in a bit of lie into a lot of truth to slowly confuse people and lead them away from knowing God.

When God sent Jesus he sent everything of himself worthy to send.

If you know and trust Jesus be rest assured you know God. If you believe this the Holy Spirit will lead you into all truth.
Thanks be to God, thanks be to Jesus.
