Blessed Are They Who Have Not Seen Yet Believe,
Sometimes when we aren't sure about God, we tend
to want to doubt Him when things are not exactly as
we would have them be. But faith does not require
proof, faith burns deeply within our hearts or it doesn't.
If it doesn't there will always be doubts, being unsure
and continual questioning. Without being judgemental
of anyone but in response to some statements I sense
that too many people look at intellectualizing God's
words. For example questioning dates, times and many
other historical facts that are written. We will never know
everything for sure but some spend an entire life trying
and because of that never come to the essential gifts of
Jesus. Rather our faith comes from trust of the message
of scripture in the spiritual way. All we need is to say, yes
Lord, I will always love you. Faith and trust rule the day
always.
