While eating day old pizza, Pete Hegseth told his co hosts on "Fox and Friends Sunday" that he had not washed his hands in over a week.

His Twitter stream lit up.

He finally did what any dedicated republican or democrat would do. He repented (admitted that it was a joke) and told everyone that he really did use soap and water.

Still there are some hard core hand washers out there that say he didn't go far enough. They expect him to admit that he also uses hand sanitizer.
