Making friends here

Hi all. I have been inactive for a while, but I realized due to life situations changing, my social circles have again shrunk... I am just throwing out some lines into the universe and seeing what happens, this is one of them.

I read the sticky post, and to be clear, yes, I'm lonely, who is single who is not lonely, and ultimately seeking their partner?

At the same time, I want friends, fellowship, to share, learn from others - and I let God guide me in terms of finding my future wife. We are as likely I suppose, to find them here as anywhere else.

Just to write a little amount myself:

I'm a musician who plays with a few folk bands in my region here in the UK. I play Acoustic guitar, harmonica, whistle, a little bit of Melodeon, and I'd like to learn the fiddle. I write poetry and I plan, when I'm done with music, to go into nutrition. I really want to travel to the states one day so if you live over there and are willing to let me stop by or show me some great music venues, please do send me a message!

I was not raised Christian but God really found me when I needed him...he saved my life. I feel like the true word of God is difficult to see in our age of deception, we must work hard, but it is there if we surrender to him.

I'm happy to share my music / poems with you if you're interested. I also love ancient history, big lord of the rings / mythology / legend fan, and also of the soundtracks.

I know the feeling. Most of mine is not out there either. I almost prefer to perform it in small pubs and bars and not put it online. I may do one day. But I like the online world less and less these days (irony) I just feel like the world is becoming darker and darker for Christians, and a public record of everything you've ever said online seems too easy to abuse, so I limit what I say, I suppose.

I use the internet with the hope of making connections I can bring into my real life some day. As I plan to visit the states, I expect I could visit any US folk one day.
