Perfect Love Casts Out Fear,
Then John goes on to say that fear has to do with
punishment, the one who fears is not yet perfect
in love. So until in our hearts we can trust God in
all things we are not yet perfect in love. When we
can know within ourselves that we love Him before
all other things and our neighbor as our selves we
still have a long ways to go. Yes God can exclude
us from paradise but the only way that can happen
is if we deny Him. That is to say that we believe
that satan can overtake God. Of course that can
never happen and that is why we need to believe
that God has saved us from sin through His son.
That does not mean we won't sin but it does mean
all our sin will removed when we repent and God's
mercy takes those sins away. We need always to
follow where He leads.
