And Be Holy,
Without holiness, no one will see the Lord says Paul to the
Hebrews. Mostly Paul is telling his followers that we can't
continue to purposely keep on sinning after we have taken
the Lord's promise into our heart. Love and good works is
the road to our holiness in Christ. Once we've received
salvation, we can't just stop there without continuing to grow
in faith and reassurance that we will live a life of promise to
all that we encounter. If we can't do good to others, at least
we should not do bad to others. Otherwise we are not any
different from the secular world. It is up to us to allow our
hearts to glow in the world rather than dimming hope in God.
How wonderful it is to absorb the scent of God's flower of love.
