Christ Died For Us,

Paul is teaching the Romans the importance of understanding
how much God loves us. I have heard many people saying
they are not worthy of being saved. Well here we have Paul
saying by Christ on the cross made us worthy. If we say that
the blood of Christ did not make us worthy then we are saying
that we don't believe that God has saved us. Paul is sort of
saying it is obvious that God loves us because He sent His Son
to save us. We were and are all sinners. But God by His love
enables us to be redeemed by His forgiveness. It is really very
necessary for us to believe and to know our sins will be taken
away. This is the difference between being a Christian or being
something else. When God gives us gifts, I would think that
He expects us to use it. If we say "Am not worthy". it is saying
we need to work our way up to salvation and of course we all
know that is not right. Being conscientious in God is a great
thing while being scrupulous is another, they are not the same.
