James goes on to say that we do not merely listen
to the word but do what it says. As always through
scripture we are encouraged to follow the path of
Jesus so we can bring His love to the world. That
everyone to the ends of the earth should hear the
significance of Christ on the cross. Yes there are
details that help us to do that but sometimes we get
caught up in the details and miss the message. The
message is love and eternal life and if we continue
to focus on details but miss the messages of His love
in our hearts, we are pretty much missing everything.
There is nothing in being a Christian that is of greater
importance than the love of God and His salvation.
