In The Day Of Salvation I Helped You,

Paul is urging us to be someone and do something with the
graces we receive from God. In other words we don't just
read the word and sit on them. It does not need to be more
than we can handle; more than we are capable of. A daily
thing can be very small like being nice to a waiter in small
café or a clerk in the grocery store. We are not above any
one else but to all we should be congenial so that even if
they haven't heard God's word, they got a taste of His love.
When someone does wrong to us, we don't need to return
the wrong but rather we respond in a higher way. If we
return the wrong they did then we are the same as they are
and not displaying God's Spirit. In all situations we need to
think God and thank God.
