Be Pleasing In Your Site Lord,

The psalmist is looking for a deep relationship with God
and of course that is what we all should be doing to the
best of our ability. In my view, a little bit of prayer often
is better than neglecting it. That close interaction
with our Lord keeps us closely connected with Him. It is
not always easy but we should do our best and not let
our relationship become neglected being set aside to
collect dust. It is worthwhile to keep trying and not giving up
because God does not give up on us. So just because
something is not easy doesn't mean we should avoid it.
It is good to affirm in our minds that this process is for our
own sake and not someone else's, not even God. When we
continue to keep coming closer to His nature, obviously it
would please Him but mainly it is to change our hearts and
let our hearts be close to His.

14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer.

true most of the psalms are poetic and songs. There is so much in them
and actually a lot of the new testament contains parts of them.
