June is a hard month and one i seek the end of. I lost the two closest men in my life 12 days apart, my dad and then my partner, and unfortunetly June also holds both their birthdays. I still struggle with how they died but i know as the years roll by God keeps me under his wings. I ask for prayers for my daughter who misses her dad and poppy, that Jesus makes his presence known and strengthens her. Thankyou.

The end of last year a fav pet of mine passed on in a harsh way. I was felt so guilty and in grief. A couple days later while I was praying in my backyard, the Comforter came and told me he was in peace and would not want to comeback and relive his ordeal.
I know we miss our loved ones gone on, but I know even they would not want us to mourn for too long and just keep living as followers of Jesus. May God bless you with His peace.

I guess some hold pets to be equal to humans so I understand why you write this, but as a father that lost a son I also find it cheapens my sons life to be compared to a fav pet loss.

Yes we all grieve but a human is not a pet.

I didn't mention, I didn't lose but had a daughter go to Heaven. Her husband gave a memorial for her at his church and I couldn't go. Everyone would be mourning and expect me to do the same. I felt I couldn't see her as lost but in the arms of Jesus. I know that's unusual.
Ever since I've been getting signs from her in Heaven, she would not want me to be sad. Whenever I start to miss her I remember where she's at, and now she's with her dad there.

be careful of assuming signs from Dead people..

God and JEsus may send signs, but not Dead people.

She's not dead, and I know the Lord is letting her leave me 'pennies from heaven' . Whenever I go out I find usually pennies and they remind me of her, that's not an evil thing, God bless.

Remember that while you're missing them, they're rejoicing before the throne of God! Some how my envy of that keeps my missing people governed. Instead of thinking gee I wish they hadn't left, I think man I can't wait to be with them. Throne Room envy I call it. More happy for them than sad for myself. May that peace be for you.

Hello, Kylie78. I’m so sorry to hear about the deaths of your dad and partner. I can certainly understand this must be very hard for you and your daughter. Be assured I’m praying, that the Lord will make His invisible presence very real to you both during this painful time, and that He Himself will intervene in a wondrous way to fill the empty places in your hearts. Jesus understands your sense of loss, and He desires to be with you during this difficult time. Your hope can rest in the knowledge that “just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows” (II Corinthians 1:5). Also, you might be interest in doing some reading: bit.ly/2Cyhwnq and bit.ly/2L5anSz. Grace and peace to you and yours.
