Call On Him While He Is Near,
Of course we realize that He is never far away in real
but we tend to make Him that way in our lives. So as
it is, when we bring Him near to our hearts, our prayer
will always keep him there. For He is our one and only
Lord and without Him we are bound to fail. Reading
further He says My ways are not your ways and your
ways are not my ways. We tend to want to reduce God
to our level rather than lifting ourselves to His level. It
is often spoken that God wants this and God wants that
but what is really meant in that is that we bring Him down
to where we want Him to be. So does that mean that we
will be God, of course not, we will never be God and it is
not our expectation to be God. But we should commit
ourselves to doing our best and even God never says we
will be Him one day. Yet we can attempt to come closer
to His ways.
