So Be Holy In All You Do,
There is no in between with faith in God. Either we
are all in or all out. If we get caught in that tangled
web of the middle it often turns out to be disaster.
It is important for us to attend a church of our choice
on Sunday but it is important that we are there not
just in body but in mind and heart. These are times
of inspiration and reflection. These are moments of
drawing nearer to God as we get catapulted into a
world of that is far less friendly, much more evil as
it is said, cast to the lions. So this is our basic start
to the week but it should only be a start. If we are
not willing to dedicate ourselves heart and soul to
God we can easily turn out to be hypocritical in our
lives. Reading scripture, praying about what we
read as well as petition prayer should not be seen
as an option but rather it should be a necessity.
Too often we sluff that notion off as not having the
time in our day to do it. But that should be what we
thrive on, an obligation before anything else. God
doesn't take time out from loving us and tending to
us by pouring out His graces so we should at the
very least give Him some of our time. It is for our
own good so we can live a joyous dedicated life in
Him. Life should never be about God but in God.
