You Are My Lord And I Will Exalt You,

What a wonderful way to awaken in the morning by grasping
the love of God. The psalms were written so long ago and
yet people were ready to open the door to their hearts and let
the Lord in willingly and joyfully. God made the light shine on
us the psalmist goes on to say. So while I am sure they were
going to temple and hearing God's word through the law, some
were comfortable to sit and be joyful in the Lord. They were
not only observing the legal God, they were hungry for God in
a spiritual journey also. So later on as Jesus came upon the
earth He said "I am the bread of life and whoever comes to Me
shall not hunger and whoever believes in me shall not thirst."
In all things, God wants us to be happy to not have to live in a
world of strife in our lives. Of course we know it is not possible
to live a pristine life here on earth and yet that shouldn't ever
preclude us trusting in God, prayer and love and striving for a
happy life. Scripture says: Be happy, always happy in the Lord.
