Though Seeing They Do Not See,

Jesus is addressing the mockers and the scorners, the
fakers and the hypocrites. They have all the words of
scripture in their pockets and yet none are in their hearts.
When Jesus healed on the Sabbath, they were ready to
great harm to Him because in their view, He willingly
broke the law. But Jesus showed them several ways in
which they were breaking laws. So what is that telling us.
Should we go out and break God's laws and willingly let
our minds take us where it leads us or do we conform to
Jesus. Jesus gave us many examples as to how to live
to secure and thrive in the world. But in the end, He gave
us but two commandments and those are; Love the Lord
your God and your neighbor as yourself. So as we develop
in the Christian life and we fully accept the Holy Spirit and
we become completely changed by God, we not only have
the law in us but we rise above it. This is what Jesus tells
those who would scorn Him. So when we rise above the
law doesn't mean we are breaking the law but rather we
are glorifying the only real and only law which is love.
