In relationships why is it that when God bless you with the partner you prayed for, but you reject the blessing
More details please? Right now it sounds like the assumption is that if you've been praying for a partner, then any relationship you get into is God blessing you in answer to your prayer but you're going to reject the blessing. I don't see that either of those are inherently true.

What I do know is true, and a likely possibility for why people who want a relationship end up not being satisfied with the relationship they have, is that reality is much different from the fantasies we've imagined and relationships in real life aren't the endless source of happiness and fulfillment that hollywood fills our fantasies with.

I suppose you could ask "why is it when God blesses you with you prayed for, but you reject the blessing? Doesn't matter what word you fill in, the answer's the same.

It's because we want more. We covet.

I'm with cinder on this one. Simply getting into the relationship does not mean the person is godsent. Nor does rejecting a relationship mean you are refusing a blessing. Relationships fail for a variety of reasons.
If a woman prays for a husband and guy that's known for beating women asks her out, is that god sending her a man that beats women? Is refusing to date him rejecting gods blessing? She did pray and he did show up. What if he claims he's changed and she dates him then he beats her. Is she rejecting gods blessing then?
No. People come and go in our lives. Relationships do as well.

Unless you are referencing a specific situation, in which case you should make that more clear and clarify the question.

What i see as more common is people making bad choices in starting relationships and telling themselves, and others, it's from god. Then when it doesn't work out they're shocked that it didn't work and blame god. Ignoring that everyone told them it was a bad idea. I see that to be much more common than genuinely good relationships forming and people randomly leaving them.

When relationships fail, it is not always rejecting a blessing. It is all for freedom of choice. Even God does not force us to love Him. Where there is no freedom, there is no love, no relationship.

Well there are a lot of assumptions we need to try to fill in all the gaping gaps..

First we need to assume that God provides patners to those who pray for one....

Lets say for argument sake that God being the perfect judge causes a partner who would be right for the one who prayed to appear for them.. Would that person recognise the person God provides to be the best patner for them?

Are people praying for the best patner or are they praying for the type of partner THEY THINK is the best partner for them?

Tinkerbell725's signature is the answer:

Trust in the Lord with all your heart...
In all your ways acknowledge Him...
Delight yourself in the Lord...
Rejoice in the Lord always...

Speaking for myself, I have no faith in my own understanding. My emotions and thoughts are unstable and are not God's thoughts. But one thing is for certain that the Father has proven to me over & over again: He will reveal Truth to you one way or the other, and that Truth will set you free of any confusion. He watches over those who trust in Him. For sure.
