You Have The Words Of Everlasting Life,

Jesus spoke after feeding the five thousand and said to
the crowd, I am the bread of life, he who eats my flesh
and drinks my blood I will raise him up on the last day.
Upon saying that, he noticed the people were getting up
and leaving. They didn't understand that Jesus who was
speaking in the spirit and not the flesh. Since feeding the
hungry with bread and fish, He satisfied the need of their
bodies. But we are to digest that physical food and be as
Jesus is except we don't actually eat the bread that sustains
the body. To be Christ like we need to eat His spiritual food
which where the bread becomes His words and His promise
that He is the Son of God. Even to the apostles this wasn't
easy to understand. But it all made sense when Christ rose
again from the dead, we were able to separate the Spirit
from the flesh. The body houses the Spirit and the Spirit
feeds the flesh that becomes holy. The joy that our Lord
brings to our lives will be cherished beyond measure.
