Galatians is relevant to anyone who is preaching a different gospel. By adding works to the gospel of christ. The type of work does not matter, the message is the same.
Paul says in Galatians 5 that because of them adding works of the Law
to what Jesus has done ... they have been estranged from Christ
and have fallen from grace! ... Here again ... so much for OSAS.

Lol

And your different from them how?

Your adding works. Just like they did

Your being offered grace now. WIll you recieve it, or fall from it like they did because their true faith was in their works, Not in grace?

What do you think you can offer God that will cause him to forgive one sin you have commited?

If we can not meet Gods standard before salvation, what makes you think we can meet it (perfection) after. We still fall short.
BACs have an incredible advantage over those in the OT:
1) the indwelling Holy Spirit
2) they are new creations
3) they have the whole complete Scripture
4) they have been set FREE from being slaves of sin

News Flash ...
Jesus came to FREE his sons and daughters from being slaves of sin!
That's why He came!
Because the Father will NOT accept anyone who has any unconfessed-unrepented sin.

You don't want to hear it ... but IF you're a BAC, you do NOT have to sin!

He freed me, I am no longer a slave

1. Sin can no longer condemn me
2. Because of that, It no longer has any power over me
3. Because I have experienced Gods love, I now have the power to love, as he loved (we love because he first loved us)
4. I now have the power to obey Gods commands.. Because I am under the law of Love, not the law of sin and death.

You think you have freedom from sin? Your still under its power. Because you have failed to yield to Christ and his gospel of mercy and love and grace.

Your problem is: all of the other NT verses are facts also.
Yep they are

Yet they can be interpreted in a way they do not contradict. Sadly, your interpretation does not work out..

You think you have freedom from sin? Your still under its power. Because you have failed to yield to Christ and his gospel of mercy and love and grace.
So this biblical scholar has not read this

18 You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness
Rom 6

Paul is pointing out with the Holy Spirit in our hearts we can but follow Jesus
and do works that bring glory to His name.

Not sure about this the condemnation mentioned here.
You think you have freedom from sin? Your still under its power. Because you have failed to yield to Christ

Very arrogant and judgemental, putting oneself in the place of God. Not a good thing to do ever for anybody.

“And we know that God causes everything to work together
for the good of those who love God and are called
according to his purpose for them.” (
Romans 8:28)
These were predestined, called, justified, and glorified (8:29-30).

Those who truly love God obey Him by resisting temptations to sin!

“God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation.
Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God
has promised to those who love Him.” (
James 1:12)
Believers who endure temptation:
● love God
● chose to be obedient to Jesus (see below)
● will receive the crown of (eternal) life

“Temptation comes from our own desires,
which entice us and drag us away.
These desires give birth to sinful actions.
And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death.
So, don’t be misled, my dear brothers and sisters.” (
James 1:14-16)
Believers who do NOT endure temptation:
● will fall into habitual sin
● will receive spiritual (eternal) death …
UNLESS they sincerely repent (stop their habitual sinning).

Those who really love Jesus obey Him
“Those who accept My commandments and obey them
are the ones who love Me.” (
John 14:21)
“All who love Me will do what I say.” (
John 14:23)
“Anyone who doesn’t love me will not obey me.” (
John 14:24)
“When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love” (
John 15:10)
“You are my friends, if you do what I command.” (
John 15:14)
Who gets to heaven who does not love Jesus, who is not His friend,
and who does not obey His commandments?

Slaves of sin -- OR -- slaves of obedience
“… if you present yourselves to anyone as as obedient slaves,
you are slaves of the one whom you obey,
either (slaves) of sin which leads to (eternal) death, OR
(slaves) of obedience leading too righteousness?” (
Romans 6:16)

“… anyone who obeys my teachings will never die!” (John 8:51)

“if you want to receive eternal life,
keep the commandments.” (
Matthew 19:17)

“So, you must live as God’s obedient children.” (1 Peter 1:14)

“Only those who fear the Lord and keep His commandments
have life with God. But there is NO (eternal) life in those
who do not keep His commandments.”

(from “The Shepherd of Hermas”, which was quoted as Scripture by early
Christian leaders such as Irenaeus, Origen, and Clement of Alexandria)
5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge;
6 and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness;
7 and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love.
8 For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 But if anyone does not have them, he is nearsighted and blind, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins.
10 Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never fall,
2 Peter 1

Grasping Gods love in our hearts and following it, puts us in the middle of His will.
Amen

Hard hearted people have no clue what this means, and you will get unbelievable push back
from such as these because they do not know what love in an open heart really does.

God bless you

He can not even possibly know every sin he commits, let alone keep a list!
Wow. It shows the quantity of unrepented sins you must have is so long you have given up
working through it. The Lords principle is to repent of any known sin.

A defeated believer will always say, it is too hard and too long, I will not even try.
But as any adventurer knows, only those who get up and start walking get to the end.
Giving up lets defeat win, and we are a victorious people following our Lord who went
to the cross to make the way for us to follow and who told us His way is easy and His burden
is light. Thank you Jesus.

Reminds me of the old school Catholicism where the people would walk into the confessional with a list of sins and hope they did not miss any mortal sins.

Same old same old...... just repackaged.

18 You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness
Rom 6
"... you are that one’s slaves whom you obey,
whether (slaves) of sin leading to (eternal) death,
OR (slaves) of obedience leading to righteousness?
... so now present your members as
slaves of righteousness for holiness." (
Romans 6:16, 19)

Those who choose to be slaves of obedience are accepted as being righteous.
Those who choose to be slaves of righteousness are accepted as being holy.
In God's eyes.

After becoming a BAC, everything is conditional.
Ever notice the dozen "IF" conditional verses in the NT?

1. eph 2, Have been saved

2. Romans 8, we were saved in this hope

3. 2 tim 1. Has saved us...not according to our works

4. Titus 3, Not by our good deeds, but by his mercy he has saved us.

Should I go to Eternal life, and prove we HAVE it also?
One that has closed their mind to the truth will never agree with 1000 verses that exposes their error..........

You can post all you want.. The truth will ALWAYS come out..

Jesus paid your debt, The law condemned you. You can not do one thing to cause one sin to be forgiven

You are either under grace or you are under law. Those are your only two options.
By default and a third choice-->"ignorance" condemnation!

This is true no matter the position one holds. It is amazing the only way we can see God is with a
pure heart, because only a pure heart can cope with the truth.

It is always interesting to see people who claim to know Jesus and to listen to Him not understand
this basic fundamental truth, that the King of Creation has declared.

The further reality is only those with a pure heart realise its reality and those who compromise
and stay poluted by sin, always deny this reality, because they can never see it.

It is why part of Jesus and His message is, until you walk you will never know.

8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
Matt 5
