When Tempted No One Should Say
God Is Tempting Me
God Cannot Be Tempted By Evil,
In Matthew, the Lord's prayer says "Lead us not unto
temptation". In fact no one can tempt us when we are
sitting in the arms of God. Scripture says once God
has us by the hand, nothing can snatch us away. So
it is by our own weakness that we falter. We need to
be able to admit that so by acknowledging it, we can
come to our Lord for forgiveness, and through that
process be restored and renewed and start again. It
is not good to leave sin lingering within our spirit so
if we correct ourselves we can always be in God and
always live in the Spirit. The flesh can tempt us but
we have the power through Christ on the cross to be
reconciled with God always.
