I need advice I just found out I have four classes left until I can apply for the dental hygiene program. I have the money to pay for my classes so I'm not worried about that but my problem is my bosses won't give me time off to go to school. I've been at that job since June and I've only taken one sick day I went in worked four hours almost fainted and then went home. Since then I've never missed a day. I don't know what to do because I don't want to keep putting off school and since I'm finally at a place where I can afford at the last four classes I need. Then once I ace them I can get into the program. My problem is if I don't get into the program in the spring I might have to move because the college is changing campuses for the program and it'll be 3 hours away. Do I work a job that won't give me time off to go to school or do I quit? I've tried finding other jobs that will work with my school schedule but it's like nobody wants to hire me.

Hello! I will help you pray about the decision you have to make. I know how hard it can be! I was a mother ,going to school and working. I chose just a weekend job bc finishing school was important to my family. I will ask Him to give you the correct answer in His word and in prayer! Blessings of peace to you.

I'm sorry, but you have only been there 6-8 weeks and you want them to give you time off?

When I owned a business, I hired people because I needed them to do work.
Why do you think your employer should give you time off to pursue a career that is going to enable you to quit the job they hired you to perform?

My advice would be to quit and pick up a part time job somewhere.

Finishing your classes and getting that in your pocket sounds top priority and I agree in prayer the good Lord directs your path through this, in Jesus' Name, Amen.

It’s good of you to share your situation with us about your classes, friend. I’m praying that God will provide for all your needs, give you wisdom and direction as you seek His leading. All the best, dear.
