Actually I'm kinda interested in Ham Radio
Yes!!! Take to the air waves.
Conversations are another natural thing as well. Radio is one of the coolest things on the planet in my opinion.
Like was it always there and we just found it? It makes for a VERY interesting study.
Radio as far as conversational radio is concerned is organic. In times where I've been really alone I've done some AM surfing and picked up these stations that somehow were just there overnight and some I haven't ever been able to pick up again. Speaking straight to my situation in a really cool way. There was even one on crafty stuff when I was at my wits end about it. It was very personal.
I would be
totally open to doing some HAM radio.
Have had some of my coolest moments with radio. Where it's like..you know...this is filtered through me and the spirit within me. It's just my ear gate and you get a spiritual sense about someone even over the radio...it's amazing tbh.
It's also a lot more private than the net for someone without specialized skill.
I mean come on...picking up stations on a crystal radio or the fact that every smartphone has a built in radio regardless of whether it's activated or not and without wifi with just an aux cord. Leastways all of the newer ones including Iphones (unfortunately apple has some very negative practices regarding open sourcing though)
Film is ear gate/eye gate and is scripted. When they take the Lord's name in vain, it's on purpose. When children are swearing or in rather graphic situations...it's on purpose. When there's a sex scene it's on purpose. Could go deep into that but a lot of people just sometimes don't think about it. It was specifically designed that way, they didn't do it on accident, it wasn't just a passionate moment that a coworker had. It was intentional and they had to "practice" it. Serious stuff.
I'm not going to get into scripted radio or the big box stations that dominate over 90% of radio on the FM spectrum (because that's the same subject matter and is mostly deception) but with care you can find legitimacy. CSN is a christian broadcast network you can probably pick up on the lower end of the spectrum. It's 88.1 for me and there are areas that I drive to where I hardly get it. It has blessed me tremendously at times.
I am NOT a fan of constant advertisements or selling media which CSN does. I get that they have to pay for the air time but I'd rather have a subscription, support that way and not hear stuff like that. There are a lot of ways to go with stuff like that and taking to lesser used AM stations is FAR cheaper but is impractical for driving if the signal is weak.
It's so interesting...the same way that you get isolated T-storms you can get isolated radio station reception. So funny. I've legit walked 2 inches and picked up a preaching station that's normally classical and the only other place I know that I pick it up like that is at a grocery store in a certain part of the parking lot and nowhere else really. Don't ask me why I check things like that. Just get a sense.
Some of the pastors are something like you'd find around your local area that you've probably heard the material before...but then I'm so surprised when I hear someone talking about some really "off the beaten trail" sort of things in the bible that I haven't heard anyone speak about and it lines up with my views that I'm unsure about and give me confirmation in a way.
AM bands you can find some pretty unique shows and preachers too as well as some music that wouldn't be on FM bands except some college stations.
ANYWAY, long post and I realize you only posted 7ish words but I think there's enough in radio to last a lifetime. Much like the internet, there are certain people drawn to it that you won't really find anywhere else. I mean you "might" find a friend that does in your day to day life but I think the Lord spreads certain people out so that they "have" to search far and wide to find their friends
