Really our Christian journey begins with that. If we can't
accept and absorb that deeply within ourselves, the rest
won't really matter much to us. Scripture says that we
died with Christ and we will be raised with Christ so it is
necessary to begin with that foundation. It means that
faith, hope and love start there. In a world of false illusion
it can become easy to drift away with the smallest hint of
a storm. But with Christ as our Master, we will be strong.
We will cast away disillusionment and take the high road
when the world is pulling us to the low road. When in doubt
pray often. Pray without ceasing scripture says. Let's not
take those as a filler for the Bible. Prayer is the fundamental
guardian of our faith. Without it the road can become blurry
very quickly.
