We don't need to know everything about God
to have peace and faith. Scripture puts faith
above knowledge all through scripture. Of
course knowledge is wonderful in life and many
things including God. But we don't put knowledge
above faith and we don't put learning above His
power of love. Scripture says: be anxious about
nothing but everything with prayer and supplication.
Being holy in God is what is best to strive for since
if His love is deep within our hearts, our lives are
totally devoted to Him. After all, what is knowledge
without faith. As I see it those can collide at times.

Knowledge alone will only puff us up, we need to strike a balance between knowledge and spirituality. DustyRhodes is right: we don't need to know everything about God to have peace and faith.

According to 2 Peter 1:2-4, all of the Precious Promises of God are added through the knowledge of what Christ did at the Cross of Calvary where the victory was won. Therefore, the Believer Faith must be placed and maintained exclusively in Christ and the Cross of Calvary where the victory was won to receive Grace from God. Romans 8:2

I agree 100%. I remember talking with my Spiritual mentor once and I said I do not need to understand, and I was told yes we do. I shut up and listened because of my respect, but I still do not agree.

I do not understand how God can stept out of heaven as a man but still be God doing His god stuff and still fulfilling Scripture as 100% Man and 100 %, while still being God in heaven....

I do not understand how there is ONLY ONE GOD expressed in three persons,.... Yet I only have One God.... God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are ONE GOD NOT THREE!!!!

I honestly don't understand how He LOVES little 'ol me.... I matter soooo much to Him that He made me a son of God thru Grace (Salvation).

Yet, my mentor is right He has given me ears to hear and eyes to see, that I understand His Word and it is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. And He allows me to know Him, in whom I have believed.

MOTC always quotes his Jimmy Swaggart book. Jimmy Swaggart published a Bible where he inserted his own commentary in bright bold red letters all over in the middle of the scripture so that you can hardly see what the actual text is.

Yeah, you can hardly even tell its a Bible. Many of us would really like MOTC to stop doing that, but he doesn't care.

Huh I didnt know ol Jimmy had a book, bold comment in the middle seems odd to do, I’ll have to check it out for the amusement of it.
