Just because I was discipled by Dr. John MacArthur, does not mean I agree with everything he teaches.

Matthew 16:18 (Young's Literal Translation)

I came to the conclusion ASSEMBLY was the correct Translation after reading this definition in the
NASB Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible.




When the bible was first translated into ENGLISH, the SUBSTITUTION of the word CHURCH had already been Made.
HOWEVER, they did not Put it in ITALICS.

It confuses to people to think the believing JEWS that believed GOD would provide a Messiah, that they are a LOWER CLASS of Human Spiritual Beings. That is a form of anti-Semitism. It forces people to NOT consider Jewish believers are PART OF THE BRIDE OF CHRIST, and in doing so, you will make GOD A LIAR:

Isaiah 54:5 (HCSB)
5 Indeed, your husband is your Maker— His name is Yahweh of Hosts— and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; He is called the God of all the earth.

Believing in Israel during the O.T. had the SAME KIND OF FAITH WE DO.

Just say hell, and the hearer will understand you as talking about Gehenna, which carries by far the most weight.

But I wouldn’t tell them Jesus went to hell, because they’ll think you mean Jesus went to Gehenna, and that might be more distracting than productive

Assembly is another word that does nothing but create confusion VCO. An assembly is nothing more than a gathering of people. Christ is building a church, an assembly of BELIEVERS.

By using the word ASSEMBLY in Acts 7:38 the fact that THE CHURCH EXISTED amongst THE ASSEMBLY in the wilderness is COMPLETELY HIDDEN.

Probably 90% (probably more) of Christianity thinks that the church STARTED when Christ came, but Acts 7 clearly says in such plain and simple straight forward language that Christ was in the CHURCH in the wilderness.

Act_7:38 This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:

Using WRONG terminology like this leads to heretical views of scripture.

I use the biblical prophecies of Israel and their survival as a people against all odds, against satan trying to destroy them, against people like the Babylonians and Greek Seulucids trying to take away their cultural identity through assimilation, etc as an evidence to the Bible’s Divine inspiration when talking to atheists, libs, and skeptics
