In June I left an abusive relationship that I was in for 5 years. My kids and I are starting over. I very much felt God encouraging me to leave but I’m struggling. I was a SAHM for years so when I left we had $.50 no car and what we could carry. I’m struggling and just need some uplifting prayers. In the past 3 months I’ve managed to get a car, job and apartment (moving in October) but I’m having a hard time coping with feel overwhelmed a lot. Thanks

It sounds like God is with you very much so and I pray 'He shall continue to supply ALL your family needs according to His riches in glory'. 'Cast your cares on Him who already has paid the price for us' and then continue in trusting Him. You are doing so good, God bless you. I'm in agreement with brother Levi's prayer also.

Pat yourself on the back. You had the courage to leave an abusive relationship, not only for yourself, but to give your kids a future. Well done with everything you have achieved!! Women should never stay with people who abuse them, and I believe divorce is warranted and absolutely necessary without question in these cases.
Just set and write down small goals, and write a journal too. This way, when you read back on your problems, concerns or happiness, you can reflect on what you have written & realise your goals/desires, or review them. Take life one day at a time. You will be OK with the right support!
My prayer to you:
Our loving, gracious heavenly Father, please look upon your servant Britt to overcome her anxiety and troubles, and guide her and her children in the right way. Help them to move to their new home without trouble, and ensure Britt's new job is right for her, and helps her support her and her family comfortably. Amen.
Let us know how your new job goes won't you!
Cheers!
;)

Britt29, Some encouragement for you in the Lord! After reading your post, I cant imagine the emotional struggle that you have been dealing with, by leaving the abusive relationship you were in, and getting re-established with your children. One thing I know for sure in my heart & spirit, is that your Heavenly Father knows how to redeem all things! He is the author of life & new beginnings. You have taken many important steps for the "Well being" Of you and your children, and as you continue to abide in the Lord daily, things will get easier & you will became stronger. Finding that rest for you spirit & mind comes only from the Lord, as He is able to refresh your spirit & help you continue forward on the path you are on. Its so important to find time with the Lord, as you journey through life. He knows how to lighten the load & help bear the burdens of life. Mathew 11: 28-29 Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29: Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.…
