Rset from sin not rest from righteousness:

John 8:34-36, " 34 Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who practices sin is a slave to sin. 35 The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. 36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."

Romans 6:

16 Do you not know that if you present yourselves to anyone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness? 17 But thanks be to God, that you who were once slaves of sin have become obedient from the heart to the standard of teaching to which you were committed, 18 and, having been set free from sin, have become slaves of righteousness.

1 John 5:2-3, " 2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome.

Matthew 11:27-30, " 27 All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him. 28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Jeremiah 6:15-17, " 15 Were they ashamed when they committed abomination? No, they were not at all ashamed; they did not know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among those who fall; at the time that I punish them, they shall be overthrown,” says the LORD. 16 Thus says the LORD: “Stand by the roads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’ 17 I set watchmen over you, saying, ‘Pay attention to the sound of the trumpet!’ But they said, ‘We will not pay attention.’

Blessed are all who take refuge in him.

until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.

You guys don't keep the whole Law and that means ALL has already been fulfilled.
Jesus didn't mean:

The law of Moses will be in force until all is fulfilled AND until heaven and earth pass away.

He meant:

The law of Moses will be in force until all is fulfilled, except (of course) if heaven and earth pass away first.
Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it. There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your neighbor? James 4:11-12

All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. Romans 2:12

...the people of Israel. Theirs is the adoption as sons; theirs the divine glory, the covenants, the receiving of the law, the temple worship and the promises. Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them is traced the human ancestry of Christ, who is God over all, forever praised! Amen. Romans 9:4-5

As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies on your account; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs, for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable. Just as you who were at one time disobedient to God have now received mercy as a result of their disobedience, so they too have now become disobedient in order that they too may now receive mercy as a result of God’s mercy to you. For God has bound all men over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all. Romans 11:28-32

If God's gifts are irrevocable, would the law given to Israel be revoked or nullified?

Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because he who has suffered in his body is done with sin. As a result, he does not live the rest of his earthly life for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God. For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do—living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry. They think it strange that you do not plunge with them into the same flood of dissipation, and they heap abuse on you. But they will have to give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. For this is the reason the gospel was preached even to those who are now dead, so that they might be judged according to men in regard to the body, but live according to God in regard to the spirit. The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.
1 Peter 4:1-11

The Master's word/s is a law to His servants, written on their hearts.

Confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and walk in Love.

God is good and His Love endures forever. Amen

Keep the Law? Of course not! Not even Law keepers keep the Law, so why should we?
We do not keep the law "perfectly" but that does not sway us from "trying' to keep it perfectly. Yet when we do not, we do not feel condemned, we do not think it is a death sentence, we delight and love and cherish the work Jesus did for us, the sacrifice He made to bring us forgiveness from that sin of transgressing the law, that awesome sacrifice of His, we gladly accept finding that yoke super light. We mess up, we all sin but the spirit convicts us, we examine and pray and repent, changing ourselves, our inner man and crucifying that flesh that is at war with the law, and we are forgiven, washed clean again, as clean as the day we were baptized, our sin erased and we do not have to wait, do not have to find a perfect animal and have it sacrificed, and then have a priest go talk to God for us. No, we go straight to Christ and confess and repent and are forgiven and go on to talk to God ourselves no fear, knowing the infinite value of that blood. So easy is the love of God towards us. So easy has He made it for us to come to Him. He doesn't want a sacrifice, he wants our love and He made it so easy to come to Him all the time, anytime. We do not walk around with that heavy burden of sin upon us.

So no, the law keepers do not keep the law any better than any one else does, at least not in the beginning, but I am willing to bet they do by the end. Repentance, that "choosing" to change the inner man, one step at a time as we progress towards perfection. Sanctified in our walk towards the day we will reign as priests with Christ. We work at becoming "more Christlike" something once impossible for the Children of God because they had not received the Gift, thank you Jesus, again.

Do we teach the law? Yes. Are we made to feel bad for that? Yes. Does that sway us? NO. Why not? because we believe the words of Emmanuel when we are told Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. And we know who will Judge us. And we know the one who will Judge us is the one who created us. And we know it is not us who is sufficient to open the eyes and the ears, but we know God is.

I already replied to your question earlier with romans 7:7.

You must have missed it.
Romans 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

I am sorry but for me, this does not put the 10 commandments as "a unit" with the law. I agree the 10 commandments are "law" but it is to far a stretch to read this and come to the conclusion that they are all "one" that can't be separated. Did you read the verses I posted? Here is a copy. What does this say to you?

1 Kings 2:3 And keep the charge of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself.

Is this not separating, because it is to me.

Deuteronomy 10:2 And I will write on the tables the words that were in the first tables which thou brakest, and thou shalt put them in the ark.

Deuteronomy 31:26 Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee.

10 commandments, 2 tablets written by God, were put "into" the ark and the law was put it beside it or in the side. Doesn't this show that God Himself separated them from each other? That is a pretty big "show" of them being separated, right?

Hebrews 7 and the word change:

Hebrews 7:11-12, “Now if perfection had been attainable through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the law), what further need would there have been for another priest to arise after the order of Melchizedek, rather than one named after the order of Aaron? For the priesthood being changed G3331, there is made of necessity a change G3346 also of the law.”

“For the priesthood being changed G3331, there is made of necessity a change G3346 also of the law.”

one G3331 is a abolishment of one and establishment of another (priesthood)

the other G3346 is a transfer (the law)
Thank you, very good explanation. I shall remember it.

The law of Moses will be in force until all is fulfilled, except (of course) if heaven and earth pass away first.
The old covenant (law of Moses) waxed old and was done away with as far as our "being under" (no animal sacrifice, no veil for priests to go talk to God, etc) so that the New Covenant, Grace, could replace it. Romans 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter

As long as that happens, they will need to be led to christ

This means the law will still be in effect for those lost souls to lead them to christ.
It is in effect for education, yet no longer for condemnation and death.

The law of Moses will be in force until all is fulfilled AND until heaven and earth pass away.

He meant:

The law of Moses will be in force until all is fulfilled, except (of course) if heaven and earth pass away first.
That is not what is stated. No where in the grammar does it state, "except (of course) if heaven and earth pass away first"

In respect to what is to be fulfilled in verse 18. That is in regards to the prophets. All has not been fulfilled in which God had given them to share and heaven and earth have not passed away. These are prerequisites which have not happen, so not one jot or tittle shall pass from the law until all is fulfilled. Jesus' words not mine.

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
(Mat 5:17-18 KJVA)

What Law or aspect of the Law is Jesus referring? The context of the proceeding verses show it to be the moral Law. The Laws that show us what sin is. For Jesus had fulled the need for the laws pertaining to the sacrificial system and the ceremonial when he died for our sins.

For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing. Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

Education?

It is there to still prove condemnation and death to the lost

To the one trained by it and saved, it cant really teach us much,

We are dead to the law once we believe in Jesus's death burial and resurrection. As Christ did at Calvary, all of us died to the law and we are now reborn being "delivered from the law".

And what are the components of that law that we are dead to? One of them is the 10 commandments.

You want to separate the Law on your own, go ahead and do it if you like for your own pleasure. Paul's point is that all of us Christians are "dead to the law".

I become dead to the law of Moses, (not the Commandments). But Jesus died to bring in the New Covenant.
that being dead wherein we were held (The law of Moses)(The old) that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, (The new ) (kingdom of God) that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

Romans 7:1 Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?
Romans 7:2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.
Romans 7:3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

Romans 7:4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
It is made so clear here.
Marry first husband with his laws, he dies, set free of those laws, free to marry another.
Marry 2nd husband and his laws are now in effect.

What part of the 10 Commandments would you like to be dead to?
You shall have no other gods before Me. Surely not this one
You shall not make idols. Or this one

You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain. Matthew 5:34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all neither by heaven for it is God's throne
Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Matthew 12:8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day
Honor your father and your mother. this one?
You shall not murder. Matthew 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

You shall not commit adultery Matthew 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

You shall not steal Matthew 5:39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor .Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you

You shall not covet. Or this one?

Matthew 4:16 The people which sat in darkness saw great light and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.
Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
First word of His ministry has to do with law.

What would be the point of "forgiveness", and the remission of sin? If we are all sinners???? Why did Jesus die then if not to bring in the New Covenant? How do you walk righteous if you don't know what righteous is to God? I know you follow in love but lets not leave out the mind. Spirit and soul.

You did not reply to the verses I gave of God separating the commandments from the law? So, please, don't say it is me when it is God talking. You have made statements I have asked for verses. You have not given any convincing ones and have not replied to mine except to repeat your position. Do we wish to discuss and find the truth or prove our position regardless of what the Word says? Because I don't have any written in stone but if I can't find it in the Bible, I don't accept it.

So basically what you are saying is that you disagree with Paul’s argument that Christians are dead to the law, which includes the 10 commandments?

This is even though he clearly stated in v7 that the law he was referring to includes the 10?

I did not reply to those verses because you are using the ot scripture and forming a doctrine meant for the body of Christ using the ot. I rather take my doctrine from the apostle Paul who is the apostle to the gentiles.

Well, we all must follow where we are led. I respect that. God gives different gifts to different people so your calling is different that mine. So I ask that you respect where I am led. That's all. Yet I still must point out that in Matthew, the 10 commandments are being quoted and expanded by Jesus.

Of course, no worries, I don't get into these discussions with the objective of changing the other person's beliefs. Its more to understand how others end up believing the doctrine that they follow.
