Love is from the heart/soul, not the ego mind. That goes for the Love of Jesus, to the love of a potential spouse. You will know when the the right one shows up, its a feeling that cannot be ignored.

Thank you 1ofthem :)
Anytime Dave, that was a really good post you made. I like how you brought many of the scriptures together pertaining to love, bringing an in depth look at the characteristics of love through the scriptures.

Love is very important. Jesus said it is the greatest two commandments and all else hangs on them.

Love covers a multitude of sins. If you love God you'll want to please him and do what he says and if you love others as yourself you'll be kind to others and treat them as you would want to be treated and this is pleasing to God.

[37] Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. [38] This is the first and great commandment. [39] And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. [40] On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Matt.22 Verses 34 to 40 - Bible, King James Version

Once again good post, and thanks for posting. It's always good to be reminded of the scriptures. :)
