When used informally "insane" as a superlative typically means that it is impressive, extraordinary, beyond expectations, we can plainly see you are not lazy and were able to retrieve the definition for us. Thank you!

So you are promoting @gb9 argument as reaching a genius level of knowledge and understanding, in that case I would be most appreciative if you stated that my arguments were "insane" as well.;)

I emphasize grace in salvation, as does the Bible. That is the opposite of self righteous

And eternally grateful and DC were talking about a post where I quoted 1 John 3:6 almost word for word.

Read what I said and then read 1John 3:6 and tell me what I said differs from 1 John 3:6

It’s funny how people like DC and EG laugh at people for quoting the Bible. 🙄

No one who abides in Him sins (durative or continous progressive present tense) , no one who sins (durative present tense verb) has seen Him or known Him

1 John 3: 6.

This is not talking about sinless perfection. It is saying that people who abide in Christ do not practice sin as a way of life

Notice the topic is abiding, so don’t talk about works salvation. Again, please

And this is a descriptive phrase not a prescriptive one. In other words it is not saying what we need to do to abide in Christ, rather it is DESCRIBING a person who is abiding
