If you go to your doctors sometimes they can loan you one, or your pharmacy can (we used to do that in our doctor's surgery). Pharmacies also sometimes have a lay by scheme where you can pay the BP machine off. Also I'd look online - don't know if you have access to gumtree.com, but people sometimes sell these things cheaper or give them away, if they are moving suddenly.
