Jesus Said To Peter Do You Love Me,

Three three times Jesus asked Peter that question.
All three times Peter replied yes; each time with more
conviction. After the third time that Peter said yes, Jesus
told him to feed His sheep. We see here that Jesus did
not test the disciples as to how smart they were, how
many verses of scripture they memorized or how long
they had studied. Peter as an example three times told
Jesus he loved Him. Three by the way is a perfect number.
Jesus believed Peter and knew that even after that, Peter
would doubt Him but also knew Peter would be restored.
Faith, trust, hope and love are the most powerful words in
Christianity. We can know a vast number of things, we can
argue eloquently for days without end but if we don't have
love and we don't know God intimately then we don't have
Anything. Know God or knowing about God are two different
things.

But Peter was still crucified. So... did Peter ultimately fail God? Or did God forget about Peter?

Christ was also crucified so we need to be certain
that Peter followed Jesus to the Promised land.
