Amen. You are absolutely correct.

True Biblical Repentance, and the teaching of the requirements of God upon those who claim the Name of Christ, is scarcely found in many congregations today.

Indeed, without an actual turning away from our sins, we abide in darkness still.

“Repent,” Peter said to them, “and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." - Acts 2:38
So much for John 3:16-17.

Amen.

Indeed, we are to obey the commandments of God given through Christ if we are to inherit the promises of God in Rev 2 & 3.
And this obedience is not to get "saved", but to enter into that "salvation" Jesus is bringing "to those who are waiting for Him." (Heb 9:28).

And again, it is to "saved" people that Jesus is saying -

"If you keep My commands you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commands and remain in His love." - John 15:10

May we be found "remaining" or "abiding" in His love today, because we are walking in obedience to His commands.
What works did you perform so far today whereby you were able to earn and maintain your salvation?

That’s more righteous than preaching works salvation. I’m currently enjoying a cup of hazelnut arabica ground coffee, medium body, medium dark roast. Yummy 😋
I like light roast and medium roast coffees. I haven't tried dark roast yet, because I heard the darker the roast, the more chemical-ly it tastes. Is that true?

Not sure about the chemical tastes, but I do know the world is a better place having me stay away from high-octane, dark roasted coffee. 😆

I am not 'working for my salvation', I am "working it out" as the Apostle said we must do. (Phil 2:12)

The Path, or Way, that I am on, is to "inherit" the promises of God in Rev 2 & 3, which we must "walk worthy" of, and "overcome" to receive.
We've talking about things way beyond being "saved" here. I'm looking at "Tabernacles", entering into the "rest of God."

Dear saints, let us not quibble about semantics, but rather "let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works... exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching." (Heb 10:24-25)

Peace & Blessings.
Your working for it

you cant work it out unless you already have it

It's Bible, my friend. :)

In Heb 9:28, we find that Jesus will bring "salvation" to those who have already been "saved" who are "waiting for Him."
Which would be his children, who are already saved.

Oh friend, we are on different pages here, and I'll not argue with you. You are referring to when we are "saved" from bondage to sin, as Israel was saved from bondage in Egypt (see 1Cor 10).

What I teach, by the direction of God, is that "eternal salvation" which is yet to come, and what the "priesthood" will be clothed with in that Day... salvation for man and all creation. The Inheritance of Creation

Being "saved" is the very first step of our Journey. How we behave in our "wilderness" determines our Eternal destiny.

Peace & Blessings, Wisdom & Understanding to all,
Michael

Your teaching salvation by works

i have been saved by gods mercy and washed and born again by the holy spirit
if you want to earn your eternal salvation, you better keep the requirement of the law, if you have not (which you have not) you will never make it.

It means saviour of all men. But not all men end up saved, i wonder why?
well, since you push Hebrew roots, you probably think those who do not keep the Law and Sabbath are not saved?

would that be true for you, or no??

1. The law has always been about love for others and that has not changed (Isa 58)
2. People will be judged according to what they have done and not what they thought.

Ecc 12:
13Now all has been heard;
here is the conclusion of the matter:
Fear God and keep his commandments,
for this is the duty of all mankind.

14For God will bring every deed into judgment,
including every hidden thing,
whether it is good or evil.

If i didn't get your question then you can rephrase it.

Christians will not be judged ~ John 5:24
John 5:24Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment. Indeed, he has crossed over from death to life.

The meaning of the word 'judgement' as used in this passage is 'condemnation'

Otherwise all men will be judged:

2 Cor 5:10For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive his due for the things done in the body, whether good or bad.

1 John 4:17In this way, love has been perfected among us, so that we may have confidence on the day of judgment; for in this world we are just like Him.

You are correct. Thanks for agreeing with me!

It's the understanding that being "saved" means we have begun our Journey, we've taken the first step out of bondage that many struggle with.
I've been blessed to be able to teach extensively on 1Corinthians 10, looking at how Paul equates our Journey toward our Inheritance, with Israel's salvation from Egypt, Exodus and wilderness testings. Truly eye opening, as we delve into the Word and allow the Spirit "to lead us into all Truth."

Peace & Blessings as you walk with Jesus.
