Hello

I am deeply tormented and disturbed by constant lustful advances from other men. Men do and say things as I pass them by and then there are voices in my head constantly speaking about other men is sexually explicit ways. To top that off, I am in the midst of a huge sexually identity struggle too so all of this isn't helping.
A few weeks ago, I came to the conclusion with my pastor that this is a curse and he prayed to break it is still strongly at work and I despairing because of it.

it's so obvious, one would have to be blind not see how satan has manipulated the 'MEDIA' to destroy
God's Loving Principles, Values, Morals, Family!!!
the basic concept these days is = 'what is good is called evil, and what is evil is called good' -
and so, 'society's Moral Compass is definitely pointing in the 'wrong-direction'...

in order to rid ourselves of 'evil thoughts and actions',
we have to 'Read The Word-Speak The Word, Write The Word, Memorize The Word, Live The Word',
'Pray to The Father in Heaven' for HELP in the struggle and battle to 'Over-Come' every thought'
that is NOT PLEASING to God and Christ...= and this we CAN DO, with The Lord's Help plus
100% of our 'diligence/desire' to bring our mind into 'The Total Will of God'...

If you were born male, then you're a man. Even if you become gay, bisexual or a transgender, you're STILL a MALE. No amount of surgery, steroids or hormones will change that.

Be who GOD made you to be. A MAN. :) A STRAIGHT man.

I’m very sorry to hear about your struggles, Jason. I’m praying for God’s strength and protection over you. May He sustain you with His mighty hand of grace and guide you to overcome your issues. Also, it might be helpful to connect with a counselor. I know that Focus on the Family can provide a free phone consultation with a licensed counselor if you call this number 855-382-5433. In the meantime, you may be interested to do some reading: bit.ly/2ppGO5a; bit.ly/35zbh1c; bit.ly/33DjJL0 and hbit.ly/2pvCpgU.

That is really helpful, thank you. I am currently working with a Christian counselor online and I shall bring these struggles to her attention when next we speak

There's a theory I have that some people just give off a highly sexualised 'charge'. It's not something that's definable by any means. I actually believe it's from our evolution as a species, that we tend to gravitate for some unknown reason, towards others we can procreate or are compatible with.
I've known and cared for many people who said to me they have known since they were very young that they were gay. Some I've believed and some I haven't - sometimes I think it's an excuse to shock others, or just to be different to rock the boat or for fame status - who knows.
When you are young too, life can get very confusing.
I would suggest for a start getting some bloods done, just to see if there is anything amiss. You might have an imbalance in your hormones, you never know.
Also, forgive me for asking this, but do you encourage men in a way they might see as sexual? Sometimes we aren't aware of how we act. I always remember that we need to 'guard our hearts' (Prov 4:23, NIV), & I am careful now not to even touch a man say just on his arm, as men can get the wrong idea. Sometimes we may be seen as flirting, and attract unwanted attention, though that may not be our intention.
You could also make a formal complaint re these men if you are able to, and this can be seen as harrassment. I certainly wouldn't be letting them do this to me - I'd be onto it by contacting the police myself.
My prayer for you:
Our loving Father, please help Jason to repel the advances of these sleazy men, and to work through his issues with his pastor. Please give him the courage & strength to survive this distressing time in his life. Amen.
Have you got close friends & family to talk to? This can help alot. If not, you can always call free help lines for a wee chat :)

Tried to add this on but my editing time expired:
It's also a good idea to be upfront & honest with these men, and tell them straight to their face that you are NOT interested in their advances. Be very firm and stand your ground, & don't get into an argument with them. I find that works well, though they might end up swearing at you or something, so do this in a safe environment, ie: with friends around. Then they can't turn around & say they didn't understand what you were trying to convey to them - some people can't take a gentle 'hint'. Make it very clear you don't want them contacting you or touching you, and that if they persist, you will go to the police and make a formal complaint. They should leave you alone after that. Harrassing someone I might point out is ILLEGAL too, so you can always say that to them as well.

Its hard for me to have empathy for gays because Im not gay. But I have felt osctracised and a second class citizen sometimes. Mainly due to my mental illness.
So maybe I have something in common with them after all.
