Mt. 5:45 the rain falls and the sun shines on the evil and good,the just and unjust!
“43 You have heard that it has been said, You shall love your neighbor, and hate your enemy (once again, Christ is correcting the perversion of Scripture; the “hating of the enemy” was probably derived from Deut. 7:1-6; but nowhere in that Passage does it say to hate the enemy; while we are to hate the sin, we are not to hate the sinner [Jn. 3:16]).

44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them who curse you, do good to them who hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you (the actions of the enemies of goodness and of righteousness are to be “hated” with a holy hatred; but personal hatred is to be met by love);

45 That you may be the Children of your Father which is in Heaven: for He makes His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust (we are to imitate our Heavenly Father).” Matthew 5

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.
James 1:17 ESV
“17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above (presents the Gift of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, by Whom every “Perfect Gift” is given), and comes down from the Father of Lights (evil is darkness; light is goodness), with Whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. (This is what God is, and He will never change.)

Amen! We must suffer persecution but we also must obey His command to LOVE above all else! We might by our love through His love win some over to God!
