Greetings saints!

My name is Michael. I am an HVAC Contractor whom God laid hold of 20 years ago, and He has been opening my eyes little by little to understand His Word and to share with the saints. I live in SoCal with my beautiful wife Marialisa and little 8-year-old son Joshua. Our boy is Special Needs, but so very special and precious to us, and the Lord is teaching us through him daily. God has shown me deeper understanding of the relationship between the Father & the Son as I love and minister to my son.

Through all the joys & trials of this life, God is continuing to unveil His great plan & purpose to those who "hunger & thirst for righteousness", who "forget those things which are behind and reach forward to those things which are ahead."

I enjoy good fellowship with the saints and I love being in the Word, and having the Lord open my eyes to see His Truth. Let us know that His Spirit speaks to each one of us daily. Jesus told us that when “the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the Truth… and He will declare to you the things that are to come.” (John 16:13). May we “have ears to hear what the Spirit says to the churches” and grab hold of God’s promises.

I know some of the things I share may sound a little different than what others teach (I'm often dismissed, or even banned). But I encourage you always to be as “those in Berea” who “searched the Scriptures daily, to find out whether these things (that I and others teach) are so.” (Acts 17:11). Remember, this is God's Truth, not ours. God wants us to spend time seeking Him and feeding on His Word. There are mysteries in His Word to search out. He has hidden the fullness of His plan, but desires to reveal His eternal plan to those who are willing to truly press in to know Him and His Son.

“It is the glory of God to conceal a thing,
but the honor of kings is to search out a matter.”

- Prov 25:2

For a little on my personal testimony and the hope that I have found in Christ, I've shared an essay here - A Disciple's Hope

As well, for any who might be interested, I delve into some Bible Studies and Kingdom teaching here - To Him Who Overcomes

I am not a man-ordained minister, and have never been to Bible School. My teacher has been the Lord revealing His Truth to me by His Spirit. I've been greatly blessed and influenced by several, mostly older pastors and theologians, but it is the written Word of God to which I return to discover the True promises of God. And again, it is His Spirit that gives me the understanding into what I read and meditate upon. Any wisdom I have has only come because the Lord has granted it to me.

The Lord has given opportunity in the churches I'm involved with to teach; and as well to delve into the Scripture and expound on the Proverbs, and things concerning the Inheritance of the saints and the restoration of Creation, on social media, through email and elsewhere.

Peace & Blessings to all!
All praise to the King!

Michael

Thanks! And yes, we have been praying concerning the fires. I've personal friends who have been affected by wildfires over the years out here, and some whose homes were lost. Was in San Diego for 6 years, before moving up to Hemet.
Very sad that there are those who take advantage of the hot, dry, windy conditions and actually purposely set fires. :(
Peace & Blessings, and protection on your home and family.

Thank you! "limmuwd" is the Hebrew word for "disciple." :)
My given name "Michael" was already taken. And no wonder... since it was the number one baby name for much of the '60's!

Peace & Blessings to you as well.

Very cool to know, thank you. Didnt mean any offense by shorting it, we tend to do that a lot here. I tend to get "BBG" instead of my full name, just easier for them to type out🙂.
I appreciate you taking the time to explain to me the meaning of the name.
May God bless you and yours, now and always, in all things...

Thanks BBG. At least you weren't rude like the last person on here when I asked what something meant!
That's unfortunate that happened to you. Asking questions is a great way to learn. And, not being from the states, I really thought it was a great guess.
Your welcome, glad to help you out. Don't see you about on the threads anymore, you must be busy. May God bless you and keep you close...

Greetings Michael welcome... I think you will like it here in the cc... Lots of amazingly honest, and gracious, sometimes outspoken and opinionated - but always loving, caring and giving of advice for those who are seeking prayer, friendship, support or just a break from their daily routine... God Bless

Sorry to hear you are sick. My little 8-year-old has been down the last couple days. Fever and bad cough. Got some meds from Kaiser today for his croup. He's beginning to do better this evening.
Praying both you and he, and others who are battling health issues right now, will receive a touch from the Lord and be strengthened in body, soul and spirit.
Peace & Blessings to you.

Thank you! I've met some good folk already! :) And unfortunately a few of the obstinate ones who sadly have showed some pretty unChrist-like attitudes toward me for things I've shared.
Yes, some of what I have been teaching over the past decade or so may seem a bit different than some modern theology, but all is entirely backed up with the great bulk of Scripture.
I love being in the Word and fellowship, and sharing the hope I have found in Christ, and God's great plan and purpose for Creation.

Peace & Blessings to you as you walk with Jesus.
Michael

Hello Michael, welcome to Christian Chat. I hope you'll enjoy your stay here.

Thanks brother! :)

There are some good brothers & sisters here in this forum.
I enjoy discussing the Word of God and exhorting the saints.

But I've also received quite a bit of heat from several members for sharing what I see clearly revealed in the Scripture.
It seems much modern theology stands against God's requirements for Repentance and a Walk Worthy of the Kingdom.
And while my hope and understanding may be a bit different from what many hear from the pulpits on Sunday mornings, it is entirely Biblical. What God has impressed on my heart these past couple decades is the Inheritance of Creation that awaits those who will truly surrender themselves, be baptized into Christ's death and be conformed into the image of the Firstborn Son of God.

Sorry to get to a-preachin' here! It's in my soul! :giggle:

Peace & Blessings to you, friend, as you walk with Jesus.

"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brethren to dwell together in unity!
2 It is like the precious oil upon the head,
Running down on the beard,
The beard of Aaron,
Running down on the edge of his garments.
3 It is like the dew of Hermon,
Descending upon the mountains of Zion;
For there the Lord commanded the blessing—
Life forevermore."
