Hope By The Power Of The Holy Spirit.
Paul is talking about his own work as an
apostle of Christ while at the same time
giving encouragement to those who are
ready to follow him. There is an emphasis
on being family so that people could see
them as one. He discourages quibbling
and arguing. So when we talk about Jesus
we need to talk with Christ in us. If anyone
tries to preach otherwise like the old law for
example, it will confuse the gentiles. The
old law brought us here but now we are in
the Spirit so the Christian faith prevails. At
no time would I suggest we scrap all that
was written because surely there is wisdom
in all of scripture.
