Just yesterday I was looking at an old Bible that was passed down to me a few years ago after my father passed away, it was one given by my Grandmother to her Mother in 1950. An old leather bound KJV Bible complete with the little tab/indents for each book. There was a hand written note to my great grandmother, and then my great gran had written down her name and address. Then there were a few blank pages for notes, and in them were written scriptural passages to read "when your pocketbook is light", "when people are being unkind" "when you can't make up your mind".
