You Are My God And I Exalt You,

Give thanks to the Lord for He is good, His love
endures forever. The Psalm is an encouragement
for us to be with Him in the morning and the night
and everything in between. There came a time in
my life when almost all of my mental thought was
God. Gone were thoughts of the world the things
I once cherished as a youth and I surrendered all
that I am to Him. I'm not saying this to put myself
higher than anyone else because I certainly don't
think that way. It is not a boast but it is a possible
encouragement to someone who might benefit by
it. It is most definitely a life altering proposition as
I have come to walk that journey with Christ. Be
happy in the Lord, always happy, scripture says.

I love the Psalms and find much encouragment in them. I know exactly what you mean when you talk about being in a place where there is nothing else but God. This is a higher praise I call it. David found that place. And when you are not there, well for me anyway I am always longing for it! For His voice, presence. It's true joy that draws you and you don't ever want to be anywhere else.

In a sense we leave this physical world and enter
the Spiritual realm. It is a glorious place and one
where when we find comfort it, we never want to leave.
