Good morning.
I was raised in church in a Christian family, had “accepted Jesus in my heart” and knew I was going to heaven b/c I was a good Christian. In 1994 I went to college and on March 3, 1996 Jesus decided to grab hold of me. I have had a passionate thirst for the Scriptures since that day and have discovered a million things in the Bible that the Christian religion never told me. I lead my family in praise, the Word of God and prayer morning and evening and listen to the Scriptures while I work. I am a disciple of Jesus Christ but get kicked out of church in this country if I try to attend. I have been out of “church” since 2001 because of the very thing Paul was afraid of in the 1st century: a different Jesus, gospel & spirit. Jesus came to free us from sin - believe Romans 6. Each of the Gospels tell us Jesus came to baptize us in the Holy Spirit. Jesus did not come to start Christianity, a word found only 3 times in the Bible - He came to free us from sin, taking us out of Egypt and from under Pharoah so that we can present our bodies to Him as living sacrifices. He said we must abide in Him and John revealed that such people walk as Jesus did who confessed that He did nothing on His own initiative. This “aphesis” freedom from sin is not known, neither the slavery to God which is not optional. The Sabbath Rest for the people of God is awesome. As John Wesley said, “I accept no other rule for faith and practice other than the Scriptures.” That has led to my being ostracized from Christianity but has brought wonderful peace to me and my family. God is the same from Genesis through Revelation. The Fear of the Lord, the key to knowledge, religion took from me. I thank the Lord, He gave it back! If by any means I may attain to the resurrection from the dead! Amen? Abide in His Word, meditate on it day and night. Be born of water and the Spirit.
