Life elsewhere in the universe?

Before turning my life over to Christ and becoming much more intentional about my faith I spent a lot of time wandering in the wilderness (as it were) and contemplating many things....among them the possibility of life on other planets, outside our solar system. Its not something I've thought about for a while, but it came to mind with the news of the video about ET coming back to see Eliot.

It occured to me....geee, I haven't given this much thought at all lately. Then turning it over in my addled little brain I've started to think, perhaps we are alone in this vast universe. Why not? God is the creator of the heavens and the earth after all, and He created us to be his image bearers, we're created after his image and likeness.

Anyone ever think about this?

One thing I do still wonder about is the pyramids at Giza...their alignment to the stars in Orion's belt, and the utter massiveness and precision of their construction. I cannot accept mainstream Egyptologists assertions that these incredible structures are only 4 to 5 thousand years old and that they were built without even the most rudimentary tools including the wheel. I don't think it had to be aliens.....the Bible talks of the flood, some scientists refer to a great 'upheaval'....so many questions and no answers.

Well we also have to remember that in the study of spiritual warfare you soon come to understand that when the Bible speaks about the worship of false Gods as the Egyptians was accustomed to doing. These false Gods are actually real beings but are Demonic forces. As to why some of Pharaohs people could also preform sign and wonders trying to duplicate Moses. They are strong but not as strong as God. They can influence on a nation just as God's angelic army can.

There is a good chance through the evils of Pharaoh and Egypt like the use of mass slave labor was rewarded by demonic intelligence.

As for life on other planets. I suppose you mean a Intelligent life form and not bacterial or organic matter. The Bible doesn't say so either way the aliens would still be subjected to Almighty God regardless if they knew it or not. It would be our job to make sure they knew Christ. Wouldn't it be amazing if they came here in search for this idea of a God Messiah.

Yes. I don't believe we are alone. A universe of a billion billion galaxies....it's too awesome to contemplate! I think that some UFOs are us being observed.

Is it possible that it happens today, could things like technology etc be from demonic influence? And it would be a site if other beings did come to earth in search for truth about God. But then if we were the only one that failed, not sure they would come here, who knows.

Demonic influence is more rampant today as we are Biblically in the end times. So the evil we see through technology or mankind is a clear example of the spiritual forces at war. Because this same technology you often see God able to use it for good too.

We all are on the same finite timeline. The universe is expanding, the energy is slowing, and everything is pointing to the death of the universe. It may be expanding but the energy isnt replenishing. We all in this universe are going to meet the end someday. This day when God does away with the Heavens and Earth to create a new Heaven and new Earth. Heaven can also include the Heavens as in the universe and heavenly realm of the soul and angels.

So either way if there is life out there then they need Jesus because Jesus's words are still absolute truth when he says he is the only way.

And the more I live, the more I see that God will provide a way for them to know Christ. Could be their own book, visions, dreams, or lead us to them or them to us.

Just curious how you know these are the 'end times'?

My own view on the end times....is that we're always in them. Perhaps I'm being egocentric, but at 53 I figure my end times are coming within the next 20-40 years give or take.....however I also know it could be much sooner, even tomorrow or this evening...I won't know the day or the hour. And that's not just me, that's my view for everyone.

My understanding was end times Biblically.
Just a look around this world leads me to believe that it won't be long, but Israel becoming a nation again and so many people turning away from/denying God's existence (great falling away) were foretold in God's Word as signs of the times.

I believe the Earth is flat, I read an article with 200 reasons why its flat. It was quite compelling.
