with all this crazy 4 day weekend rushing, I had almost forgotten just what day it is
in fact for a while, I thought yesterday was Sunday (thank you lack of sleep and coffee bean brains) and the store wasn't going to open till 10...…. ooopppsssss….
it WAS Saturday and opened extra early at 7 oh well, got an extra hour or 2 of sleep at least...…..
And that means tomorrow everyone is back to work and school..... Aw Monday... Mom's favorite day of the week

It was cold in my neck of the woods yesterday and very windy, but today it will be in the 40's and sunny. Regardless, this is my day off this week. You know I have that rotating schedule. I have to get out and do a little Christmas shopping for my wife today.

LOL! So far I bought her a fit bit, a weighted blanket, perfume and hand lotion. Still need to buy her a few more things. Pre-Black Friday sales at Kohl's (along with Kohl's Cash) really helped me to save money on the fit bit and the weighted blanket.

Today was my day off from work and I received 3 text messages this afternoon from co-workers at the Post Office who said they were buried in packages as a result of the black Friday sales! They all worked over 12 hours today because the packages were so heavy! Start time has now changed to 6:00 am until Christmas is over. I will now get to enjoy the after shocks from the cyber Monday earthquake as well. JOY!
