For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband; otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy.1 Corinthians 7:14

Question? What if both parents are unsaved, will their children from a infant to nineteen years old go to hell if they die prematurely? What if the parents are not married and unsaved?

My question would be in relation to ""unclean"" is it to do with salvation or is it to do with legitimacy?

Is it a case of Paul saying that the marriage of a believer to an unbeliever that happened before one of the couple became a Christian is recognised by God as being legitimate in His eyes. That the marriage is sanctified automatically in the eyes of God when one of the couple becomes Christian and likewise the Children of that marriage automatically become recognized as legitimate and thus Holy and not unclean ( illegitimate children ) ?

“14 For the unbelieving husband is Sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is Sanctified by the husband (means that the Believer, by virtue of being one flesh with his or her unbelieving spouse, is not considered living in an unlawful relationship; “Sanctified” means that God looks at the home as a Christian home and marriage, even though one or the other partner is unsaved): else were your children unclean; but now are they holy (looked at by the Lord as being born in a Christian home, despite the fact that either the Mother or Dad is unsaved).” 1 Corinthians 7:14

Is "Infant Baptism" A Scriptural Doctrine?

What does the bible say about this questions?

Theres nothing wrong with water baptizing children. This is not against Gods command.

As for a person dying and going to hell, how can we answer such a question? A person who dies must have had a relationship with Jesus Christ and received the Holy Spirit. Are you implying that a child who dies in a Christian home with Christian parents will go be with Christ if they die prematurely even if that child is rebellious and denies his parents faith? Salvation is ones personal faith..

rom 1:19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
